-          Training rural women in Karusandara, Maliba, and Rukoki in sustainable agric business skills and natural resources management.

-          Training rural female farmers in kitchen gardening and better nutrition methods.

-          Raise 2,000 tree seedlings, land for nursery and fuel (including fruit and woodlot trees, vegetables) and support the female farmers to plant them.

Specifically the project yields various outcomes to the targeted beneficiaries

  • Enhance the quality of the agricultural products by improving post-harvest processing, handling and storage, including through training in efficient processing and appropriate handling practices for different agricultural products and quality control systems.
  • Undergo training in sustainable agricultural practices and small scale agric-business (including produce marketing skills).
