Sponsor James' Education and Medical Bills

by Mountains of hope childrens ministries Vetted since 2011 Top Ranked Effective Nonprofit Site Visit Verified

James lives in a rural, impoverished area in Uganda and is struggling to pay for food, health care bills, and school. Sadly, his father is in prison because he badly beat James' mother. She is crippled from the abuse and unable to continue working. James rears rabbits but his small business is not enough to pay for all of his needs.

total goal
monthly donor

James is only 11 years old and yet he has to care for himself and his siblings almost completely on his own. Because his mother lost an eye and has suffered other injuries from years of abuse, she struggles to care for the family.

As a sponsor, your monthly recurring donations will help provide James with sustainable access to appropriate life-changing basics like nutritious food, clean water, shelter and accommodation. When we pay his school fees and buy books, pens, pencils and uniforms for him for a full year, he will not need to miss classes any more, he will complete his education without any interruptions.

Long-Term Impact

With a sponsorship, you can change James and his family's lives for the better. By contributing, you can make sure he continues to go to school and help care for his family. As a result, he can grow up healthy and strong and contribute back to his community.
