Dear Donors,
We hope this update finds you well and enjoying a great start to 2014! The academic year in Zambia concluded in December with several more milestone achievements for Kucetekela Foundation (KF). All six of our Grade 12 KF scholars graduated which continues our proud record of 100% graduation rate, now over the past seven years of operation.
KF supported 29 students in secondary school during 2013 as well as 20 alumni who are now studying or working in Zambia and other countries across the globe! Our students in 2013 continued our record of high academic achievement. Many of our students earned academic awards for their excellence and several students also earned awards for outstanding character and leadership. Nearly all of our eligible students were awarded with a prefect position for the 2014, which is an honor our students have earned through demonstration of their leadership skills. In the third term, our students have been particularly active in their community service projects which continue to develop and expand in the students’ home communities and schools. For individual stories from our current students and alumni, please check out our students’ blog site: http://kfstudentstories.blogspot.com
Margaret finished off the year very strong. Attached are her Term 3 results from 2013. We are very proud of her continued success.
