Gift of Education for students of Pakistan

Hello Friends,

We would like to thank you for your continuing support and confidence in our work! Your valuable donations have been crucial in helping us make a great difference in over 1700 children’s lives by sharing happiness, light and tranquility.

Your donations helped us arrange following activities for our children:

1. Registration of New Students: This year, 234 more students were registered for annual exams (Board of Primary and elementary) from the various outreach educational centers.
2. NUR community Outreach Students participated actively in the closing ceremony of Student Leadership Program held at Fatima Memorial Hospital on 7^th Aug’12. Students of Lakhodair Formal School presented a beautiful skit on Iqbal’s poem “Maa Ki Dua (Mother’s Prayer)” which is a simple description of a mother’s dream fearing of her child’s safety. It explains the process by which a child grows psychologically and develops the capacity of tolerating tenures of separation from its mother on its way to becoming an adult.
3. Quran Khawani: The annual event was arranged at Lakhodair school about 55 teachers attended the program and took part in Naat Khawani. Annual Luncheon was also arranged for 400 teachers and students under this program.
4. New Principal: Miss Rukhsana joined the Lakhodair school as principal in October 2012. Her addition to the team will increase the quality of education being imparted.
5. Celebrating Eid with Children: Eid Milan Party was arranged in the Gajjumatta schools on 30^th October 2012. Eid ul Adha celebrates sacrifice that Hazrat Ibrahim was willing to make of his own son Ismail when he was commanded to show his commitment to Allah. It also symbolizes our willingness to give up some of our own bounties, in order to strengthen ties of friendship and help those who are in need.This is what you have been doing for all these children by ensuring quality education and inspiring their teachers to engage with their students in joyful learning. This is the message we teach all the children and teachers from our area that all blessings come from Allah, and we should open our hearts and share with others.
