Young and Lonely Foundation is making a difference by assisting vulnerable children of all races and needs, administering to physical, emotional and educational needs in the rural communities of Ghana. Our vision clearly states "a just world without vulnerable children" which indicates how prepared we are to improve the quality of life of vulnerable children in the rural communities through quality education by mobilizing the power of volunteers and generosity of donors.
Difficulties in accessing education, economic problems, child labor and stigmatization due to HIV/AIDS have caused the availability of most brilliant but vulnerable children to acquire education in the rural communities. Young and Lonely Foundation aspires to aid vulnerable children to get access to quality education in order to free them from stigmatization, economic problems and child labor.
In partnerships with local schools, child-related institutions and other foster homes, we look out for the brilliant but vulnerable children and sponsor their education. Background checks will be made to check the eligibility of every child. We aim at providing safe environment for the homeless and other basic necessities in life such as food, health and clothes.
We seek to invest in the lives of the vulnerable with quality education to help share their quota to the development of Ghana. Educating women are more likely to delay marriage and childbirth, immunize their children, improve their earning potential, and contribute to the prosperity of their communities. This will also help to end economic problems, child labor, and stigmatization.
