Challenge

The basic students in these rural communities do not have readable light at home for their night studies and at times have to resort to kerosene lanterns which are very difficult to read with and this affect their academic performance in school examinations because they are not able to do revision studies at home due to absence of readable light. Providing the solar lamps for the rural communities and schools will increase basic students evening studies for a much better academic improvement

Solution

The project seeks to alleviate the plight of the basic school students and other learners in these rural communities who can not study at night due to absence of electricity. Providing the solar bulbs and lamps will cater for this need of rural students in ghana

Long-Term Impact

We shall entrust the elected assembly members and unit committee in these communities to assist in the supervision of the students studies at night in the school premises to prevent obstruction. this will stop the habit of students roaming at night instead of studying. and can also contribute immensely to the success in their basic examination leading to admission to senior high schools for further studies. it improve the literacy rate in the country.
