Solar Energy Light for Agonga & Unyama Clinics

Karin's Agonga and Unyama clinics, located in Northern Uganda, play a crucial role in providing essential healthcare services to the community. However, these clinics are facing a significant challenge - the lack of a reliable and sustainable power source. Frequent power outages are hindering their ability to deliver vital medical services, compromising patient care and safety. Installing solar power systems will ensure a continuous & sustainable energy supply to support healthcare operations.

Karin's Agonga and Unyama clinics are facing a lack of reliable and sustainable power sources, leading to frequent power outages. This issue hinders the clinics' ability to provide essential healthcare services, impacting patient care and safety. The proposed project aims to address this problem by installing solar power systems to ensure a continuous and stable energy supply for the clinics.

Solar systems will provide a reliable and sustainable source of electricity, addressing the frequent power outages. The solar power systems will ensure continuous operation of medical equipment, lighting, and refrigeration for vaccines and medicines. By reducing dependence on unreliable traditional power sources, the project aims to improve the overall quality of healthcare services, enhance patientcare, and contribute to the well-being of the communities served by these clinics.

Long-Term Impact

The long-term impact includes sustainable healthcare with reliable power, improved community health, cost savings for clinics, environmental sustainability through solar adoption, and increased community resilience to external challenges. Overall, it establishes a foundation for lasting positive change in healthcare, community development, and environmental responsibility.
