Voting takes place from August 1, 2012 at noon EDT until August 15, 2012 at noon EDT. Votes will be counted based on email address. Only unique email IDs will be counted towards a unique vote.
The winner on August 15 will be awarded a $1,000 bonus to support our work and will be featured on the GlobalGiving homepage for a full day.

SITAWI helps USAID manage philanthropic portfolio of the +Unidos program in Brazil
This year, SITAWI launched a new FINANCEforGOOD solution: donor advised funds. The objective is to help businesses and families direct their resources strategically while lowering the transaction costs involved in sourcing quality projects and organizations
The first client is USAID Brazil, US Agency for International Development, which coordinates the +Unidos initiative, a program that channels philanthropic dollars from 18 multinationals toward projects to protect biodiversity on the Amazon’s fringe by training farmers with socio-environmental best practices, and to provide English language training to disadvantaged young people in Rio de Janeiro
SITAWI consults for ADAPTSURF
Adaptsurf won free consulting services from SITAWI as part of the Folha de São Paulo Future Social Entrepreneur Award.
Adaptsurf was founded by surfers, Henrique Saraiva, Luana Nobre and Phelipe Nobre, to use surfing to promote social inclusion and integration for those with various disabilities.
