Through our flagship programme 'Shikshaantra Plus', KHUSHII addresses the challenges of poor infrastructure, low Pupil-Teacher Ratio, low learning levels and drop-out in government schools. Its 'Complete School Transformation' model in collaboration with State Education departments improves the school through remedial education, improving WASH, digital learning tools, STEM, sports and recreational facilities in school.
The traditional classroom management allows students to sit passive in the classroom. Teachers usually assess all students on the same parameter ignoring the fact that every child is unique and has different ways of learning. In teacher training there is a huge gap between theory and practice. The School Management Committees (SMC) has inadequate capacities to support schools in proper resource mobilization and utilization. High cases of poor attendance and retention are observed
It involves all the stakeholders in realizing the full potential of School as an entity empowered with tools to augment education and empower community with knowledge and awareness around different issues affecting their lives on the daily basis. improving the overall aspects of the school, including teaching learning, creating a welcoming environment in school, capacity enhancement of teachers, enabling students to acquire strong Foundation skills etc.

This year, more focus will be given on linking parents to schools through creating parent groups. It will improve the regularity in parent teacher interaction.
