Challenge

Many widows and orphans are engaging in sexual prostitution and street begging on the streets of Accra, Ghana. By providing training skill programs for these widows, it will enable them to believe in themselves and have hope for the future. Hence, they will become work oriented and more creative in finding opportunities to change their lives around.

Solution

Islamic Ummah Relief with the help of donors like you will train 100 widows and help them get on their feet. The training will give these widows hope, self-respect and assurance of sustaining their lives without relying on hand outs and gives them the dignified lifestyle.

Long-Term Impact

Your donation will help women begin small businesses (microenterprises) and provide business education to help them succeed. We will also provide skills training in a number of different industries, so women can learn a trade that fits their innate talents and temperament.
