Project #9384

Setup 175 computers-5 schools-3000 students India

by Technology Services Corps
Dec 27, 2012

Update on TSC Activities

The schools in India are still actively using the 45 laptops that were installed by both teachers and students.  IDEX fellows continue to help support the schools with the computers.

The 90 computers have arrived back in the USA, and are being refurbished for upcoming trips to Ghana and Guatemala in 2013.

Again, a special thanks for donations made in Ben Huppe's honor.  Ben was instrumental in making previous trips to India, Ghana and Guatemala a success.  We continue to work hard to honor his many contributions.

TSC is well underway preparing for the trip to Ghana in 2013.  Three talented Garfield High School Students were chosen as trip leads and 17 diverse students were chosen as team members to set up 5 computer labs in rural areas near Kumasi.  Learn more about this trip at the link below.

Many thanks for your support of TSC’s work.  It is greatly appreciated.  Best wishes for a Happy New Year!!
