Youths of Kashmir Valley are facing multi-prone problems of terrorism and drugs abuse. Setting up a drug de-addiction centre in Baramulla, a district boarding Pakistan and most affected will provide youth a safe place where they can stay and get de-addicted from drug use and live a normal life. This centre will also act as a centre to spread awareness about drug abuse among community people, school students, college students. and youth.
The many decade long terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K) has made thousands of youth orphan and has destroyed livelihood activities of people living in Kashmir Valley and specially in boarding districts like Baramulla. Pakistan is also playing pseudo game by injecting drugs like heroine and opium in Indian side and trying to make youth addicted and dance on their tunes. This centre will provide safe home to these youth and an opportunity to become an useful member for their community.
We will provide safe home to orphan and drug addicted youth (focus on Baramulla) and help them to come out of this bad habit. We will also provide them skill based training and help in setting up self-employment or in getting an employment based on their interest.
The project will help 1000 youth to come out of drug abuse habits and live a normal life an become an active member for community.
