As we pull out of Winter and look towards Spring we begin to prepare for the new season of animals, as well as recover from damages done by the recent storms in Northern California.  We lost the cover to our outdoor run, and our outdoor catteries definitely need attention.  And still the requests to intake animals continues.

Just three days ago we received two terrier mix puppies that had been left in a crate in a vacant lot.  More and more we are seeing these sort of situations where people are desperate and act in desperation.  The municipal shelters are not accpeting animals, leaving it up to small rescues like us to step in more than we even have resources for.  These puppies are healthy, social and sweet.  Its clear someone had spent time with them.  Who knows what their story is.  Did their owner loose housing?  Did they try in vain to find placement?  Whatever the case, we are committed to them and their needs.  They will be vaccinated, wormed, microchipped and eventually be placed in a loving home.  This all takes funding.  That's where you come in.

We can't do this without you.  More than ever we need assistance.  We have a never ending stream of requests to take in animals.  More often than not that answer has to be "no".  We lack the space and resources to take more.  For now, we are looking to make improvements to our current animal housing.  In addition, there is a never ending need for veterniary services.

We are thankful that you have decided to help us in the past with a donation.  Please consider another tax deductable donation so that we can continue our valuable work.  You help us help others!
