The project provides two sets uniforms, note books, writing materials with a school bag to 500 Sri Lankan Tamil refugees poor children in Tirunelveli District in Tamilnadu, India
90% of Sri Lankan Tamil Refugees are unskilled manual works. Most of the parents are lost their pairs in the War and 60% of the women are widows. And most of them are injured and cannot work for their survival. Most of the children of them are orphans or semi orphans. Their widowed mothers are working as domestic workers, unskilled construction coolies. Because of the meager income the children are managing their studies with one set of uniform and few note books and writing for all subjects
The project will provide two sets of uniforms, note books, writing materials and school bags for one year to 500 students each. These school materials will help to make them happy and feel dignified in their school.
500 poor school going children of Sri Lankan Tamil Refugees of Tirunelveli Distrcit shall have two sets of uniforms, note books, writing materials and school bags would give dignified feeling. This also shall create awareness to the parents to take care and comfort of the children
