Send 400 Kisii Orphans to schools in Kenya

Dear Donors,

We are gratefull for the donations that you have provided to the cause of this program.Following the disbursed amount that we received of $ 170.00 we were able to provide stationaries to 1 primary school - Kiabiraa primary school. The school which has a prevalent number of orphans was selected.Books, Pens, Pencils,Rubbers,Storybooks and Geometrical sets were given to 25 orphans in the schools.

Majority of these orphans lack basic education learnin materials such as books, pens , pencils and geometrical sets and end up relying on borrowing from their fellow students. Although the government of Kenya has provided free primary education to all pupils still most pupils especially those who come from poor families cannot be able to acquire basic learning materilas such as textbooks, geometrical sets and accompanied stationaries.We discovered that the orphans we are targeting were suffering as they did not have these supporting learning materials, furthermore being orphans due to death of parents as a result of HIV/AIDS complicated their confidence in learning and is with compasion from you the donors that we are able to restore hope among this orphans.

The Kiabiraa primary school manamagemet committee took part in the distribution of the learning materials which was done with the whole school pupils present.We also gave them a motivational talk on stigma on HIV/AIDS persons especially on children coming from such families.

The orphans even though shy were happy for receiving the learning materials, the Kiabiraa primary school was grateful for the assistance given to his pupils.
