After several very successful supplies drives, we shipped a consignment of school supplies and sanitary items to Liberia on May 25th. The supplies have arrived in Liberia safely and will be distributed among school children in need, especially children that were impacted by Ebola. Some of the items collected included, notebooks, pens/pencils, backpacks, hand sanitizers, disinfectants, soaps, deodorants, and toiletries.
Most of the items collected was made possible by employees of UTC Aerospace Systems, in Charlotte, NC, after a week long drive hosted by the African American Forum (AAF) group. We also want to thank all our supporters and volunteers for making this initiative a success and for the continued support.
