A progress Report ending December, 2010

The scholarship scheme has been very successful with the formation of a permanent corpus. We have received a total of Rs. 49 Lac US$108,900 so far contributions up to 31-12-2010 and have been invested in Govt. of India Bonds and Banks. Out of interest received from the investment, the scholarship amount is given to the awardees.

So far, there are 23 recipients of the scholarship scheme and three out of them are awarded in the quarter ending 31-12-2010. The new additions are as under for the courses as mentioned against there names.

1. Piyush Goel ( B. Tech. Course)
2. Tarun Kohli ( C.A Course) 
3. Pragati Chaudhary (B.A.M.S) ( Medical Course) 

Out of 23 recipients, 10 have already passed out and are employed with hand some salaries.

Mr. Ram Sawroop Vij passed out his C.A Course  Exam. In the year 2010. He belongs to a very poor family and was awarded scholarship in the year 2005. He is employed with Thermax Co. Ltd, New Delhi as Chartered Accountant and is drawing Rs. 40,000/- per month. After passing out, he thanked the management of the trust and donors for making his career. The scholarship was an immense help to him.

Mr. Ramesh joshi is doning B.tech(I.T) from Malout Institute of management and information technology, Malhot, Disstt. Mukstsar ( Punjab). He comes from a middle class family. The scholarship is very helpful for him. He has won a medal in college sports competition.

We have a plan to award scholarships two more students in addition to three already awarded this year.

We thank all our well wishers and supporters for their donations and request them to also help us with constructive ideas and thoughts to take this program forward.
