Nawfija town is a very remote poor community with low education, few social amenities that still uses stream water for drinking and domestic purposes. There are over 350 widows of Boko Haram and vulnerable youths that were forced down to the village and only survives on local farming and processing of cassava and palm oil for survival. They fall sick after the farm work. This has created several teenage mothers, high mortality rate, etc. Poor feeding/living standard across the community.
When Nawfija village get An economic development centre with cassava and palomino processing machines and bore hole water, It will highly reduce the poverty level by 40%. It will improve the economy of the widows and youths. They can now afford to send their children to school,, Teenage mothers will reduce, The youths will be positively engaged and level of crime will reduce. The widows / youths will be more healthy, better feeding for the families, Diseases will reduce, sanitation improved
Over 350 widows and youths will get out of poverty Over 100 girls will be educated to university level Over 100 youths will be economically empowered Over 500 community members will be civilized Maternal Mortality will reduce Death rate will reduce Crime rate will reduce in Nawfija community
