  • We have actively participated in public meetings with the Mexican Congress about modifying the General Health Law to guarantee a proper access to treatment. Additionally, we have been lobbying with relevant actors and stakeholders.
  • We had a meeting with the Subsecretary of Health, Dr. Hugo López-Gateel, where we established a work team composed of health officials and FUMENI. The team's goal is to identify and eliminate barriers to access to treatment.
  • We established an alliance with PAHO Mexico
  • We established an alliance with Be the Match Mexico to support Mexican girls and boys that need a bone marrow transplant

  • 2. We were able to meet with decision makers of the Ministry of Health to expose them the serious situation of children with immunodeficiencies because they do not have access to treatment and their risk of dying.  We had meetings with officials of the Ministry of Health:  Subsecretary Dra.
