We are pleased to announce some great progress toward post production of SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES since our last report in May. The funds received through Global Giving have helped to pay for several pending licenses, audio processing, plus entry into a couple festivals. Fund raising will continue through the Global Giving platform as we work to bring this important educational documentary film project coast to coast.

General news:

In June over 5,000 equestrian fans learned about SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES at the “No Place Like Hope - Hoe Down”, where we delivered an inspirational presentation focused on the need to protect America's horses. Guests were also able to meet and greet members of the Saving America's Horses team at our educational booth.  We also presented special sneak peeks of the film at the Malibu Equestrian Art Show and to Pasadena's horseracing fans in June.

Just last month, Madeleine Pickens joined the cast of speakers in SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES A NATION BETRAYED. As the founder of Mustang Monument in Nevada, Madeleine brings a fresh look at the prospect of preserving wild horses on America's open rangelands.

In July, we released a brand new PSA, "Justice for America's Horses" to help raise awareness about the reality of horse slaughter. The SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES url is provided at the end of the PSA so that viewers can learn more about this important project. The spot is currently viewable through our website and on Youtube;   Sponsorship is currently sought to enable a wider distribution of this PSA.

Also in July, WFLF’s SAVING AMERICA’S HORSES was named a Top 5 Regional Finalist for Animal Advocacy in the Annual CLASSY Awards. Recognized for Awakening the Moral Fabric Of Humanity, "WFLF's award winning film project stood out as one of the best of the best!” - The StayClassy Team.

WILD FOR LIFE FOUNDATION also recently received the GuideStar Exchange Seal; a leading symbol of transparency and accountability provided by GuideStar USA, Inc., the premier source of nonprofit information. The Seal demonstrates to WFLF's vast support-base our deep commitment to nonprofit transparency and accountability.

About this project:

SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES has won multiple international awards through the festival circuit where it is currently being showcased, however to bring this film to public release, funds must be raised to pay for post production expenses. The fund raising goal for this project is currently set at $35,000, which will pay for many expenses like transcription, color correction, digital processing, final audio mix, digital cinema distribution master, subtitles, film rating, legal, shipping, printing and general fees.

We are honored for the opportunity to raise awareness for SAVING AMERICA'S HORSES through the GlobalGiving fund raising platform.

Thank you for your continued kind and generous support for this important project.

With gratitude,
Katia Louise
