Summary For more than seventeen years of war in Afghanistan almost each family lost a member of their family, some lost their dearest once who were earning them livings. Since their children have work to earn their livings, they are miss out on studying school. This fund will provide a monthly cash contribution based on the needs of targeted families in Torkham border, Nangarhar province, so their children will have the opportunity to go to school and support their respective families
Challenge Torkham which is located in the East part of Afghanistan and has border with Pakistan has been one of the unsecured area of the country. Since it is located on border where taliban and insurgents have influence and control, children who have to work for their livings accorss the border are recruited by ensurgents and retured back to Afghanistan for ensecurity.
Solution This fund will provide cash contribution to the families whose children are working to earn their livings, so their children will have the opportunity to go to school and study. This will not only help them educated but they will be saved to get away from the recuitments of insurgents.
Long-Term Impact Afghan Women Children & Humanitarian Social Charity Welfare Organizatoin (AWCHSCWO) believe that this program will have a long term positive impact on the residents of Torkham. Children who have to work for their families should be eaducated in order to contribute to the improvement of the country along with supporting their families.
