Transform the Lives of 50 Orphan Children in India

Asha Deep Foundation has introduced in its St. James Convent School, Video Show on the subject/ lesson plan as per their classes.

The children are very happy and enjoying the lesson learning through video show.

The children expressed their thanks to each donor who are contributing to the organisation through Global Giving for their studies . The children also learn computer from Nursery class and able to learn new technologies in the School.

Shibha ( name changed  to maintain confidentiality) who is 8 years old was so happy to see her lesson taught through a video show. She is a missing girl , found on the street. She was found in the bus station crying and was brought by the police to our organisation. She does not remember anything. She was 3 years old when she came to our organisation. Now it is almost 5 years and now studying in class 3rd. When she sees other children with their Father and Mother, She asks us where is her Father and Mother and then she starts crying. It is very emotional .

Then after sometime she starts playing and keeps herself happy and tells me you are  my MOM. 

Thanks to each donor who are helping the orphan / destitute children you are bringing the smile in the faces of these children.

After Summer vacation the School re opened on 2nd July 2018. All the children were excited to come back to the School after long vacation. The children were very happy as from this academic session SMART Classes was introuduced in the School. The children will attend the Video Show Class and the  children will learn the subject through video show class. 

The children were very excited and was happy to learn through video show. The children also have new green board this year in the class. Thanks to each donor who have contributed for the education expenses of the children. The children are provided quality education in the School.

A girl Khushi , 9 years old studying in class third , who is a orphan child was very happy as she expressed her feelings to our teacher. She said today the teacher taught us through video show different weathers in India. I understood it very well and I liked the story also told by the teacher through the video show. She said she loves rainy season. She also understood how it rains ? and she said now when it rains . I know how it happens. She gave a big smile and  I enjoyed by class today.

Asha Deep Foundation organises  summer camp for the orphanage children every year to a hill station. The Summer Camp was organised from 1st to 7th June 2018.

The place selected was beautiful hill station at Himachal Pradesh - Dalhousie.

The theme of the summer camp was * VALUES OF LIFE*

The children were very excited about the camp and 54 children started the journey on 1st June 2018 and had lot of fun on the way and reached Dalhousie- Kyber House- The Earth Center on 2nd June 2018.

The children  were very happy to see the beautiful nature around and pollution free environment.

The children were allotted rooms. The rooms were very beautifully arranged and in each room 4 beds.It had attached washroom and toilets. Very spacious rooms. Children liked it very much.

Children were tired so all of them relaxed and then they reached dining hall and enjoyed hot and delicious food and went to bed.

On 3rd June Children got up early morning and started the day doing YOGA and Jogging. Then they got ready had breakfast and went out for treaking, in one of the spot children sat and did painting of the Nature. Then came back to the center.

After lunch a workshop was held on the theme VALUE OF LIFE. Chidlren were made groups and many group activities, Presentations were organised and children shared 42 values of life. It was a very good learning experience for all the children.

Evening games were organised for the children and before dinner day review and next day planning was done.

On 4th June 2018 Children did yoga, breakfast and then got ready to visit KAJJAR whichis also called MINI SWITZERLAND . The  spot is really beautiful , children enjoyed lunch and many games were organised for the children. It was a memorable day for the children.

On 5th June 2018 Children attended the workshop on THEME VALUES OF LIFE and then visited the market place and oldest  Church - St. John 's Chuch at Dalhousie. Evening had some fun , ice cream and treking was done.

On 6th June 2018 departed from Dalhousie and on the way children visited WAGHA BORDER and GOLDEN TEMPLE at AMRITSAR. Children had lot of learning during the camp and by the grace of GOD all the children reached back home safely on 7th June 2018,

Asha Deep Foundation had its Annual Sports Day event on 24th February 2018 . The organisation apart from academic also gives importance to the Sports activities. Both indoor and outdoor games are played by the children. The indoor games like chess, carrom etc and outdoor games like Cricket, Football, Basket Ball, Long Jump, High Jump etc are played by the children.

During the Sports Day the winners got the certificate, medals and trophy. The chidlren also did march past, exercises, drill, aerobilcs, yoga etc which was enjoyed by all of them.

The Day was filled with sports sprit and students participated in different races and sports activities and won lot of medals .

More than 1000 participated in the events and the programme was successful.

Asha Deep Foundation celebrated its Christmas Programme on 20th December 2017. Total 1245 underprivileged children from the community were present. The children includes orphans, destitute,physically challenged etc. The programme started with lighting the Christmas Tree , followed by various Christmas related cultural programme. The arrival of Christmas Father which was enjoyed by all ... The programme ended with Wishing all a very Happy Christmas.

The children of the orphanage also actively participated in different cultural programme. The children performed dance from different States of India. They showed through the dance how in different States the Christmas is celebrated. They showed from Orissa , Punjab and Maharashtra State. The Christmas Play with the theme Kind of Peace showing the birth of Jesus was acted by the Children.

After the programme all the children got the Christmas Gift and also good lunch. The children had lot of fun and entertainment . The programme ended with thanks to all of them.

We could see the SMILE on the faces of all the orphanages children.

Presently there are 102 orphan/ destitute children are residing in the orphanage. Thanks to all the friends who are supporing the orphanage through their donation.
