Nearly one-fourth of India's urban population or about 100 million persons reside in slum or slum-like conditions with very limited access to health and other basic services. The health status of the urban poor population is considerably worse off than the rest of the urban population. Every day, large numbers of children are dying in Delhi slums, because of lack of access to basic health care facilities. Started in 2011 to facilitate poor children to undergo by Heart Surgery for treatment.
(PSF) works with the children from the most marginalized, economically deprived families to support them in treatment of critical illnesses. The parents usually do not have a huge amount of money to spend on treatment of such illnesses. The organization sponsors treatment of children and helps them to get back to their normal lives.Recently, the organization supported surgeries of three children at a government hospital. The parents of these children work as a daily wage laborer.

Till the day we have support Device Closure Implantation of about 35 children who were suffering from Congenital Heart Defects.PSF has taken the pledge to support Heart surgeries of children, suffering from common congenital heart defects and also providing supportive care after surgery.
PSF will support of atleast four children Heart Surgery .Purpose- Started to facilitate poor children to undergo by Heart Surgery for treatment of Congenital Heart Defects. Beneficiary Age Group- 1Yr to 13 Yrs Project Area- Delhi.
