Save Children to get education and food

Raised education Centre continue to struggle with the heavy tides after the COVID 19 and bad times of economic the Centre was closed on  24/11/2022 for long holiday. Only grade 6 and 8 which were sitting for their national exams both K C.P.E and K.p.s.e.a they did their national exam on 30th November and they finished on 3rd December .the results for grade 6 were very good all the candidates were above meeting expectations they all performed in that exams we thanks the donors and GlobalGiving for their full support in terms of feeding program and good and conducive learning environment which enable the pupils to produce good marks.my name is Joseph " not her really name" initially I was in my former school where l was not enjoying the food and tea snacks during break time. Which makes me loose focus in education and I was not concentrating in education. I was failing completely in every because of my stomach was not taken care of. But since my neighbor introduce my mother to this school I was enrolled in grade 5. Sincerely since then I have been concentrating with my. Studies because I always get best food with snacks break time and lunch and also balance diet with fruits which makes me concentrate with my education. that is why I have pass my grade 6 national exam .I thank GlobalGiving and donors at large for their good work in raise education center "

My name is Moses " not her really name I was leading in k.c.p.e national exams in raise education Centre I really thank the donors and GlobalGiving for giving us enough food and a lot of resources during the exams period which makes me comfortable in class. I knew very well if I did not enrolled myself in raise education center I couldn't score this marks. Thanks donors and GlobalGiving for supporting our institution. I was kindly appealing to donors and GlobalGiving to support me while am joining high school .this is because I know my parents cannot afford the high school cost we appeal for donors to chip in so that we can continue with education.am not alone we are like 30 pupils whom need assistance to join high school. The school was open on 23/1/2023 after resuming back from long holidays .we have also enrolled new pupils around 40 up to date. We are also prepare grade 6 and 8 for national exams .the premises where we run the organization is congested we need a big place. We still need more desks, food text books and operation cost. Raise education Centre still have a lot of challenges of ensuring our vulnerable children get all they need inform of basic needs and education. Last term the institution was closed on 16/9/2022 with a population of 400 pupils. But in raise both the teachers and learners are been catered during break and lunch which makes learning conducive for both learners and teachers. We are also requesting for support of school uniform our vulnerable children have worn out uniform some don't have at all they are coming to school with home clothes we have 410 pupils and if we can get uniform for each pupil we will appreciate one pair is 150usd so it is 150* 410 pupils we need like 6500 usd. We raise education Centre we humble request if our donors can support any numbers of our pupils we will appreciate even is 20 pupils ,100 pupils 50 pupils 10 pupils according to your financial muscle or if you can support all the 410 pupils we will also appreciate. Raise education centre is still passing through alot of challenges due to the covid 19 pandemic outcome. My name is Mama Wycliffe not her really name" I thank God for my only child admitted in Raise education centre am a widow and eating is aproblem at home we can't afford even a single meal per day, but in Raise education centre there is a feeding program where my son is very happy always is getting 3 meals per day which makes him concentrate in education and like school alot and very happy and satisfied and also pass exams.Thanks to the donors and GlobalGiving for great work be blessed".We are will start end term exams on 23/6/2022 and we are expecting to closed the school on 1/7/2022.we recieved The money from GlobalGiving and the donors on March where we bought food, textbooks and operation cost where we run the organization.we also request our donors and GlobalGiving to continue support us with food and operation cost which is very expensive due to the increase number of vulnerable this is the reason we want to purchase land and build permanent children home and school for them.on September we will have GlobalGiving little by little bonus from 12th September 2022 to 16th September 2022 50% donations. Our organization is still trying to be stable once again after the covid 19 challenges. Which almost paralyzed the organization, we closed the school last year on 23/12/2022 for the long holidays. This term we resumed on 3/1/2022 for the last term of the academic year. Last term we closed with population of 380. last exams all our pupils in each class they really perform past, pass mark and the mean score .this is because of the feeding program which take cares of the stomach where by the children concentrate with learning throughout. Last term grade 3,4, and 5 they did practical for the C.B.C.this year the same grade 3,4and 5 did National K.N.E.C exams C.B.C in February. We are still uploading the results in the KNEC portal. Raise education center is trying to bounce back from the challenges of covid 19, we closed the school on 26/7/2021  and open again for the other term on 9/8/2021 then we learned and close again on 1/10/2021, and now we have open for 2nd term on 11/10/2021 whereby this term will run for 11 weeks until December 23/12/2021 whereby we shall break for Christmas holiday. Us of now we have a population of 420pupils of which is an increase due to the feeding program." I thank God for enabling me to be admitted to this center this is because in my former school we were not being offered porridge and lunch like here " this as to make me improve my studies through performing in exams. I don't want to miss school because when I miss it I will starve since in my former school sometimes there is no food like in this school. We got 3 scholarships from Safaricom M-PESA foundation the leading communication company in Kenya where they gave us scholarships for high school indexes 1,2 and 3. We also received 3 internship students from Saudi Arabia who are ongoing for internship from 20th September 2021 to December as they also do volunteering teaching, management, online fundraising on behalf of the Raise education center, monitoring and evaluation, resources mobilization and also assisting in the feeding program. Through their internship, our pupils will be able to acquire new skills for passing exams and acquire advanced knowledge from the outside world as we also thank the donors and GlobalGiving for this recognition from the Saudi Arabia internship . Saudi Arabia could not know raise without GlobalGiving and donors who still are of more support for our children in feeding programs and education. Our pupils did well in their previous exams, each class had an average mean score this is because of the feeding program which gives them humble time to concentrate with books when their stomach is taken care of. The children went for drama festivals up to provisional level and got number one.
