We are glad to inform you that we are embarking on a bold step in our malaria prevention campaign. After popular request by many of the mothers, we have plan to not only provide each recipient with bed net but to also screen in identifying mother who she and her child is not currently register under the National Health Insurance Scheme.

We would like to welcome you to the Operation Ten-A-Month! This is a latest part of our campaign wherein we are targeting at least ten mothers a month who we will issue life saving insecticide treated bed net and also include registering mother and child under the NHIS.

Kindly note that as a donor you have been very instrumental in saving lives of many children in Cape Coast, Ghana. We would like you to continue your support in extending this to the mothers as well.

This is important because a healthy child needs a healthy mother. The health insurance will cover the mother and child for a period of five years, renewable annually.

Currently we have selected the initial ten mothers for this exercise who has already received the bed nets and will on the tenth of March get register for their health insurance.

Margaret, a 17yr old mother of Frederick, who is eleven months old, could not hide her joy. She expressed her gratitude for us coming to their assistance. Being unemployed, and a school dropout, she has no means of raising funds to buy a treated bed net nonetheless register both of them under the health insurance scheme.

Veronica, who has a two year old daughter, is a widow who has been put out of where she lives and is currently sleeping in an old kiosk close to a gutter which is a breeding ground for mosquito. She lamented on how almost every month she has to treat she or her daughter for malaria. Sometimes, both of them. Her work, as a dish washer, is only enough to keep food on the table for she and her little one.

Dear donor, each of these women has a story of their own on why they are unable to get a bed net or get register. With your help we can bring more smiles on the faces of these single mothers.

Donate today or share their story to someone to help in this process. You can decide to sponsor a mother a child each month. It will cost $30.00 to get a bed net and register both mother and child.

Thanks for your donation.
