Since we started giving out free bed nets and registering the children of the Amanful community under the National Health Insurance Scheme, we are proud to announce to you that there has been no child death in the community! The infection rate has also droped!
This is a fight we are determine to win, but note that we can not do this alone. We need your help! Still!!!
More funds for acquiring more nets are not forthcoming. Currently as this is been typed, there are eight new young mothers who have registered to receive free bed net from us. Their babies is at risk as they currently do not sleep under treated bed net.
In addition, other child related illness like chicken pox, measles etc are still rampant and accessing treeatment for children who are yet to be register under the National Health Insurance Scheme is proving difficult for the mothers who continously come to our office asking when is the next batch of registration.
We are thereofre appealing to all donors, present and future, to come to the aid of these mothers and their children. We can not do this alone, as together we can make it.
