PHP opens Uganda office!

By Eddie Zhang | Chief Operating Officer

Dear Partners,

We're writing today to share some exciting news!

For the last few years, PHP has been operating the Omukazi Namarara Program and other activities out of the offices of one of our partner organizations. But we're happy to report that we finally have a home of our own. In April 2013, we opened an office in Mbarara, Uganda to support our Ugandan operations. It houses the local members of our team, as well as provides space for meetings, planning sessions, and educational and community outreach.

As our community grows, we're proud and excited to be entering into a new phase of our organization's development. PHP originally started over five years ago in a dorm room at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. As we move into our new Uganda country office thousands of miles away, we still dream as big as we did five years ago. We envision a world in which all people live with dignity, enjoy good health, and fulfill their potential. Our work won't stop until we reach this goal.

Thanks for being our partner in this endeavor. We look forward to working with you for many, many years to come!
