Challenge

There are more than 1 million Rohingya refugees are living in the camps. They are facing different types of problems including problems of health, education, nutrition, water and sanitation, food and clothing etc. They lack knowledge, education or awareness on health, social development issues. A good number of NGOs are providing different services for them in the camps but due to their huge demands, the services are not adequate. At this moment, there is demand of warm and winter clothings.

Solution

The project will provide different types of services such as establishment of education and learning centers, providing skill development trainings, supply of nutritional foods, installation of deep tubewells, installation of sanitary latrines, treatment support through referral services, child care and protection services for the victims of torture and violence, distribution of warm clothes to children etc. The project will assist the camp management authorities to deliver services.

Long-Term Impact

We will provide treatment support to 100 women which will improve their health status. Clean water support and sanitary latrine support to 750 families will make the members of these families free from water borne diseases. nutritional supplement support to 500 children will help physical and mental development. Shelter support to 600 orphan and education support to 6000 children will also help in development of children. 50 families will get cold spell protection support through warm cloths.
