This project will build a Sustainable Learning Hub; a technology-enhanced, solar-powered education space where: 60 students will receive internationally recognized education through the British International Curriculum. The broader community will gain access to ICT, digital literacy, and language courses on weekends, providing economic and career opportunities for at least 200 people per month. This hub will ensure long-term social and economic impact, improving lives through quality education.
In Kakuma Refugee Camp, young people face overcrowded classrooms, under-resourced schools, and limited access to digital learning. Brave Future's Learning Hub offers accredited education, digital skills, and trauma support. With your help, we can upgrade the hub and expand services to empower youth, and the wider community with real pathways to opportunity.
1) Providing Internationally Recognized Education: The core program will enroll 60 students in the British International Curriculum (IGCSE & A-Levels), preparing them for higher education and employment pathways. 2) Empowering the Broader Community (200+ Learners per Month) On weekends, the Learning Hub will serve as a Digital and Career Empowerment Center, equipping refugees and the host community with skills for employment, entrepreneurship, and financial independence.
Pathways to Higher Education - Students can apply for top universities and scholarships globally. Employment Opportunities - Internationally accredited education enhances job prospects beyond the camp. Self-Directed Learning Skills - Students develop independence, problem-solving, and critical thinking, preparing them for higher education and employment. Bridging the Digital Divide - Providing internet access, career support, and mentorship to empower the entire community.
