PANDU Girls' Club
A meeting of Pamadu Girls’ Club, one of the six Clubs revitalized at Kintampo North District. Standing are the Patron of the Club, Ms. Sarah Nyarkoh and a Club member making a contribution during the meeting. Seated at the high-table are Executive Members of the Club. The meeting was an end of year meeting to review the year’s Action Plan and put together a new one for 2012. Some of the implemented activities for the year included: community sensitization on the importance of girl’s education through the use of dramatization and role plays, excursions, talks on management of menstruation and clean-up activities. During a visit of FAWE Ghana Senior Programme Officer, Mr. Picconius Siameh, one Club member, Ms. Sarah Torpkor had this to say during a discussion with members: “The Club activities have helped me to know more about myself as a girl and to manage menstruation and keep myself neat.”
