80 HIV+ children from very poor families will have their deteriorating health restored through receiving specialized medical care and Vitamin A supplements that they need the most at the height of HIV
The project will provide important medical care to 80 poorest children whose parents or guardians helplessly watch them die slowly due to HIV/AIDS. This will be for the next three month begining from 1st September. These 80 children shall be the prime beneficiaries. Their poor guardians shall also be secondary beneficiaries because they wont be spending much time nursing them for once their health have improved, they will have more time to undertake activities that can help them fight poverty.
Frequently transporting children to and from the clinic, supplying them with vitamin A supplements and treating them from skin-related diseases
The potential long-term impact of the project is that it will change the mentality of the destitute in our project area that HIV+ simply means agony and death. It will certainly proove to them that there's hope and life even when you test HIV+.
