Through this project,Orphan vulnerable girls and girl children of sexually abused women are identified and rescued and given a safe place away from abuse, prostitution and criminality. The project enables a better future to about 3000+ young girls who would otherwise be the victims of human traffickers and subjected to forced sexual slavery.
Children of sexually abused women, grow up in an environment of violence, criminality and discrimination. They experience the sexual exploitation and the abuse of their mothers and themselves day by day. Most of them live in isolation and don't go to school. Often, they are left behind as orphans and start begging to survive on the street. But even if their mothers are still alive they are not able to provide a safe life to their children and to keep them away from sexual exploitation
The project offers a home exclusively for daughters of sexually abused women. they have a place to live, play and sleep, they get healthy nutrition, medical and psychological care, employability skills and are sent to a Standard English medium school. That way they can escape from the dangerous life that their mothers cannot break out of.
CMM's work is affecting more than 3000 vulnerable children and more than 10000 women who have been sexually abused and are forced into prostitution every year. The organisation facilitates them to come out and to become part of the organisation's team to fight forced sex work, human trafficking and HIV/AIDS. CMM is a role model for India. The organisation was founded by a Sex trafficked victim and it is her vision that no girl child should get into this horrible life as she did.
