This primary school was one of the two existing school in the community. Unfortunately, after twelve years of active work, with free education, that school was completely destroyed by Hurricane Matthew. It is official, the 125 children we serve, won't attend class for the school year 2016-2017. With your help, we can build this school and have class for these kids in October 2017.
The 2nd school in the community no longer exist. 50% of the students are still in the streets. per demand, i must reopen the school in October 2017.
Children deliquency, robbery, community disturbance, sense of belonging - these are the issues this school will address for this community.
we will bring about 100 kids from the street back to school. And this will be extended to 200 students within a year and will double within another year.
