The project will help to provide extra accommodation for 70 girls, who are congested in one dormitory without space and adequate toilets leading to routine sicknesses. Renovation will help to provide three more rooms , indoor bathrooms and toilets for the 200 girls rescued from child labor, sexual exploitation and children living on the street for rehabilitation, vocational training and integration with their families and as well as finding jobs for self reliance.
In 2012 the main block for the dormitory, administration offices, stores was gutted by a fire. leaving the girls home without accommodation for the vulnerable girls who need special protection
The current building is accommodating 200 girls; This project will provide space for 70 girls so that we reduce on the congestion. The project will help to create 2 indoor toilets and bathroom. The new building will provide 2 classrooms and 3 stores.
The long term impact of this project is; To decrease the number of the girls getting sanitation related problems. To increase the number of intake of vulnerable girls. To increase classroom and office space for the home
