Despite Covid quarantine, in January and February we organized and delivered two more online courses for 60 children with hearing and speech impairments. All classes for children and their parents, as always, were conducted by qualified instructors - speech therapist, audiologist and music therapist online. Before the start of the classes, textbooks were sent to all participants of the program, which were developed specifically for online classes. The program was aimed at developing the rhythm of speech and hearing. In addition to valuable content, classes delivered positive emotional charge. After classes parents thanked their instructors through the online chat.
Following our program, families continue learning at home, applying skills developed in the virtual classrooms. Online classes allow us to deliver timely and safe rehabilitation support to children after cochlear implant surgery.
We hope that soon we will be able to return to in-person learning and continue to offer even greater degree of support to children with hearing and speech impairments.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to our dear sponsors and hope that together we will continue making a difference.
Sincerely,
Larysa Kuzmenko
