The CAD MS Trust is a charitable Non-Governmental Organization-NGO, established on 29th February 2009 by Dr Sreedhara KC and Mrs. Deepa at Vijayanagar. Itis registered under-12AA and 80G of the Income Tax Act 1961 and FCRA from Ministry of Home affairs Govt. of India. running Deepashri Nursing and Rehabilitation center with old age home at Nagarbhavi Bangalore for the destitute disabled geriatrics in the rented building . looking for support to establish trust owned center at BDA alloted CA land
1. 90 % of the older persons are from the unorganized sector, with no social security at the age of 60 years. 2. 30% of the old persons live below the poverty line and another 33% just marginally over it. 3. 83% of the aged people live in rural areas 4. 73% of the aged are illiterates and can only be engaged in physical labour. 5. 53% of women over 60 years of age are widows, many of them with no support whatsoever. In 2001, one third of the elders were living below the poverty line .
Disabled of elders could be to the various causes such as Elder Abuse by stressed children, elders thrown out of house due to property or financial matters etc. CAD MS trust provides shelter , food ,clothes , medicines , treatment , recreation , physiotherapy , counselling, yoga etc in its Deepashri Rehabilitation center and oldage home. served 2000 elderly disabled , dementia and Mentally ill patients in and around bangalore , conducted free Health screening camps to geriatrics .
The disabled/Geriatrics living in the streets will be rescued and rehabilitated in the permanent home at Deepashri /Rehabilitation center and oldage home, residents would be ensured a healthier living with the medical aid and continuous support. Every elder will feel the homely family atmosphere.A peaceful and a happy environment and the Neuro Psychiatric services provided in the home. Recuperated residents will be given income generation,The value of "Care and concern to the elderly spread.
