Drama performance by peer educators for awareness

SEHER initiated in a very challenging environment for rehabilitation of children in sexual exploitation,  and after the rigorous kind of activities the silence was broken and community, stakeholders and parents are responding positive to take their role effectively, at this point of time the community and stakeholders need a proper and technical guideline to follow to achieve their ultimate goal,

The peer educators are now able to contribute and arrange awareness sessions for the children and community members, peer educators organized a drama performance to create awareness on the issue of child rights

Program was initiated with the recitation of Holly Quran by Peer educator. Event procedure was initiated. After that all participants were formally welcomed and paid thanks for their participation. The main purpose to organize this program to awareness the new generation know about child right.

They registered the children, & make them sit properly. One of the peer educators introduced the team and gave orientation about SEHER and IMTIZAJ project. Then they start the program through the Drama.

In this drama one children show the school boy who run away from school because of corporal punishment and due to lack of stationary which was not being provided to him as his parents were not able to afford. While running away from school he start spending his time at streets, gaming zones, cafes, and the corners where he met other street boys, his father was worried about the situation of his sons, and took the decision that if he is no more going to school so he should earn money he make him to work at a tea stall and given target for collecting the money,

He was compel to work hard at the tea stall, he use to work from dawn to dusk, but on very small mistake his employer use to beat him, he was disappointed and having hatred for the parents and other people. He was having no hope; here comes his bad street friends who involve him I drugs and other bad activities,

Through the Drama children aware about the child labor, corporal punishment and sexual exploitation, they were aware that if a child is not getting enough attention from parents he can be involved in anti social activates and many children discuss their problems after the drama.
