The 2012 Plunge: A Huge Success!
More than 3,150 people plunged in Portland, Corvallis, Eugene, Medford and Bend. That's up from last year.
Together we raised over $460,000 in pledges, just about equal with last year's record-setting amount. An amazing achievement when compared with so many non-profits seeing a drop in donations.
Our Super Plunge" team of fourteen volunteers stepped up and plunged once an hour for 24 hours, raising over $50,000! (talk about crazy in a good way).
Making A Huge Difference In The Lives Of Our Athletes
The numbers and the personal challenges are a lot of fun. But most important, your involvement in the plunge is making it possible for Special Olympics Oregon to provide more events for our athletes, including the State Games.
