The Corona Virus (COVID-19) has affected everybody and everything around the World. Refugees in the settlement was mostly affected, especially Orphans and Children with disabilities. This project will support these young vulnerable refugees in breeding of Turkeys which will be their source of income in Nakivale Refugee Settlement in Uganda. It will provide them with support for their education, supplementary nutrition, sanitary materials for girls and other primary necessities.
Orphans and Children with disabilities is a category of children that is discriminated, marginalized and neglected by people. Most of them don't have access to equally education and other children's opportunities in the community. They are ignored and denied their right to education, gender equality and other rights. They don't own a source of income that can support them in other primary needs.
WIL'ZA HUMANITARY ASSISTANT INTERNATIONAL is a refugee local organization based in Nakivale Refugee Settlement/Uganda. It's supporting Orphans and Children with disability in providing for free Turkeys for breeding and follow up, so that this becomes a source of income for the beneficiaries. This project gives new hope and support to vulnerable children affected by conflict and disaster and who left their countries of origin to the country of settlement.
This project will provide 240 Turkeys for breeding to 80 vulnerable children (Orphans and Children with disabilities). The objective is to grow these Turkeys for reproduction so that they will be their source of income in their family or their household. This is to encourage them in owning their source of revenue that will support them for their education, supplementary nutrition, sanitary materials for girls and other primary necessities.Your donation will be a prestigious support to chilren.
