Challenge

Feminine hygiene for the intimate area is one of the significant factors that plays role in every aspect of female reproductive health, sexual health and quality of life. A lot of young girls living in undeserved communities are usually not educated on feminine hygiene, therefore have poor hygiene and coming down with infections resulting from it. Also, there is usually a lack of medical personnel being present in such communities to educate them on such.

Solution

The Red Pad project will provide education and sanitary pads to such undeserved young girls.

Long-Term Impact

Less occurrence of poor hygiene related infections. Less financial burden of purchasing sanitary pads monthly. Better reproductive health, sexual health and quality of life.
