Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz Elementary is in the municipality of Santiago Tianguistenco, State of Mexico. The school has an enrollment of 445 students and 13 teachers. The institution is one of the largest in the area, since in addition to having people from the community of Santiago Tilapa, it also serves students from five surrounding communities. The school suffered damage in two classrooms resulting from the September 2017 earthquake and the students dont have enough space now.
There are many students in the elementary Sor Juana Ines de la Cruz, after the earthquake some classrooms got damaged, now some grades have to share their classrooms and they dont have enough space.
We will build 2 new classrooms so the students can separate and have their own spaces, this will benefit the learning, the space, etc.
In the long-term this project will not only benefit the actual students in the school, it will benefit any student that assists to Sor Juana Ines Elementary.
