Habitat Birmingham continues to serve communites damage by the 2011 & 2014 tornadoes. In 2014, we built two homes for families impacted by the storms, and repaired many others. We're also continuing to offer lots for new homes in areas where storms have come through, helping stablizing impacted communities
Many of the volunteers helping us over the next few months will be college students from across the country, traveling to Birmingham for our Collegiate Challenge Program. These students come spend a week service helping others during their school breaks. Habitat Birmingham will have 500 out of town college volunteers participating in Collegiate Challenge this year.
