As part of our mandate to improve Health in Ghana West Africa, our project is in direct conformation with the World Health Organization, the Ministry of Health, Ghana, the Ghana Health service (GHS) and other health development partners working to promote healthy living in the developing world. The pilot phase of the project is designed purposefully for public awareness, training, sensitization and screening among women and men in local communities, institutions and organizations across Ghana.
The Health menace in Ghana West Africa has risen to the apex. Alarming Cancer cases are recorded, HIV/AIDS is scuffled at its neck, Hepatitis B is rising rapidly, high numbers of the population are lost over Malaria and sadly more young people and adults are habitually and addicted to substance abuse. Substance abuse is currently a worrying situation in Ghana, more of the energetic young people are hooked unto the use drugs.
With respect to research conducted by our team respectively, the bases of most of these menace is arose from lack of information. It stood out that the majority don't have information on the causes, preventive measures and treatments to these diseases. Hence, Goodman Impact Network has it on its piloting phase of the project to educate, sensitize, train and screen men and women in Local Communities, Institutions and Organizations.
In conclusion, we drawn out that information is key. Thus, when the people are informed properly and they are well abreast with adequate and right information the problem will analysed and solved and this, will go a long way to cause massive positive change in the lives of the individuals.
