Since the last update, Qurbani 2025: Eid with Dignity for Every Family has continued its efforts to reach the most vulnerable families in Lebanon amid the ongoing impacts of war and economic collapse. Through the distribution of fresh Qurbani meat, the project sought to bring joy to households that have long been deprived of the simplest elements of Eid, enabling families facing food insecurity to observe the rituals of Eid al-Adha with dignity.
Families headed by widows, as well as orphans and elderly individuals, benefited from this support. For many, the Qurbani meat provided an essential meal that helped ease hunger and restored a sense of inclusion in the spirit of Eid after prolonged periods of hardship. Beyond meeting nutritional needs, this support served as a message of solidarity and compassion, reaffirming the meaning and values of the occasion.
One female-headed household shared that receiving the Qurbani meat brought her children a sense of happiness they had missed in previous Eids, restoring warmth and comfort to their home. Despite challenges related to rising costs and access constraints, the project remains committed to standing alongside these families and supporting them during religious and humanitarian occasions that offer hope and emotional stability.
