This project will support patients with cancer who are in poverty and extreme poverty, in which the relatives of these patients will be sensitized, in order to support them and provide them with adequate care, providing quality of life; In addition, the project will support travel expenses for quiomiterapies to the city of Lima. Since these patients do not have the economic resources to move to their therapies.
More than 50 families of the Ayacucho Region have a family member with cancer, these patients are in conditions of poverty and extreme poverty, these patients have suffered neglect, carelessness in their care, neglect of their food, care and hygiene; their caregivers have referred fatigue, stress in their care, they have also reported that they lack the economic resources to transfer them to the City of Lima and receive the appropriate treatment.
The intervention aims to improve the quality of life of these patients, providing psychological care (both to the patient and their families), food, care within the home and facilitate their transfer to the city of Lima, so they can perform their treatments .
The project will sensitize 50 families who have a relative with cancer to improve their quality of life, in addition to the patient with cancer learn to live with their disease and have the opportunity to be cured, also the family is sensitized in the care of their family with Cancer.
