During the last three months we continued to have a high demand for our online events. Online events become a very important part of our Program. We completed another two art therapy courses (5 sessions each) throughout November 20 - January 21. We continuously had a waiting list for art therapy and thanks to all the support and donations coming to our Fund, we were able to continue a series of courses.
Christmas time was a magical time as always with very popular photosessions taking place. We restarted our photosessions in Moscow keeping them to smaller groups while taking all necessary pandemic-related precautions. Some of our regional offices became active again after lockdowns. Samara city had 10 classes of art therapy and yoga. Yaroslavl city rolled out a 6-weeks course led by reabilitologist, it was named “Fit and healthy”. Voronezh city had a few Christmas photosessions as well.
In November we participated in a Russian wide march “Light up the night”, where oncology patients and those in remission, marched together to support each other and other oncology patients. We are happy to share a video that was recorded in support of this event.
We are also happy to see increasing interest and demand for individual therapy. More and more oncology patients start to understand the importance of psychological support and help. Over November, December and January we provided close to 40 individual consultations!
