This year our results have shown that we doubled our growth and hosted more than 300 events in 2021 vs about 10 events in 2020. This was all possible thanks to you and your support! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

In the last quarter of 2021 we continued our psychological support groups and conducted 2 courses of art therapy, each consisting of 5 classes. Besides art courses, which are conducted by professional psychotherapists, we also had 9 art classes, where people gathered in an online format to paint together in a friendly atmosphere. Given the ongoing pandemic, having more online classes allowed us to provide more psychological support to our recipients.

We had a number of new and creative master classes dedicated to cooking, makeup and styling. Our ladies loved those events. We were able to conduct 11 events over the course of 3 months and hope to have many more in 2022. Also, our club of books fans continued operating as well and had 9 sessions in the last 3 months of 2021.

Our regional offices in Yaroslavl and Samara had a lot of great events. Samara team organized 6 yoga classes, which were followed by art classes. In addition, they had 3 dancing classes and a few cooking master classes. Yaroslavl organized an amazing course for women who survived breast cancer called “I am a woman” focusing on physical rehabilitation. As part of this course they had 10 sessions. We are very proud to moderate such an amazing events.

Moreover, Yaroslavl State Department of Health had a meeting with government authorities about the importance of early cancer diagnosis. Our Fund was invited to participate in that discussion, which took place in October 2021. Such breakthroughs are very important to us as it allows us to fulfill our mission.

We were able to conduct 3 photosessions in Moscow and were happy to share a few photos with this report. :)

We continue growing with your support and in the last three months we hosted close to 80 events and helped over 180 people.

We are excited to share that in the last quarter we started a number of new and fun activities that stretch across different areas. For example, we conducted 16 sessions of vocal therapy, where our recipients express their emotions and feelings through singing. We started a club for movies and books fans where our recipients meet online to talk about different movies and books.

Of course, we continue our work with online art therapy and psychological support groups. We completed the 4th art therapy course and continued with weekly psychological groups meetings over the last three months.

Saratov city joined our geography and formed its community. By now they hosted 4 events: culinary classes and workshops with psychologists. Other major hubs of our Fund besides Moscow such as Yaroslavl, Samara, Voronezh, continue carrying out various offline events such as workshops with psychologists and oncology doctors, yoga classes, art therapy classes, etc.

We also started growing the number of sport activities. We had swimming classes, yoga, and dancing classes. As part of that, we started having a number of offline classes, which makes everyone happy.

We were able to provide 67 individual consultations in the last 3 months thanks to the work of psychotherapists who provide their time on a pro bono basis.

Our Fund continued growing in the last 3 months. Thank you all again for your help!! It all wouldn’t be possible without you!

Although an unstable situation in the world persists, we continue growing the number of events available to our recipients online. Thanks to your support, we are able to grow despite challenging times. Over the last 3 months we were able to help approximately 150 people!

We launched two online groups for psychological support with our Lead Psychologist. Originally we were planning to have one group, but due to high demand, we created two groups. They started running on a bi-weekly basis from April 1st. We also continued our art therapy courses in 2021 and completed a second course consisting of 5 sessions in April. As we strive for continuous improvement, our art therapy psychologist renewed the program this year and now we call it “Art Therapy 2.0”. Additionally, we continue having online art classes with different instructors and had 7 classes over the last 3 months.

Moreover, our famous photo sessions are slowly coming back! We had 4 photo sessions across 3 different cities in Russia: Tomsk, Vologda, Belgorod, and Orehovo-Zuevo. Our branch in Samara has been very active in 2021 and conducted a number of different events supporting oncology patients including art therapy, yoga, and culinary master class.

As part of our educational and informational work we had 5 Instagram live chats with oncology doctors and psychologists. On average about 100 people join every live chat.

We were able to grow a lot in the last 5 months and we would love to be able to maintain this growth in order to help more oncology patients to go through these challenging times. Your support was an incredible help and we hope to continue sharing amazing results with you.

Christmas photosession in Voronezh

During the last three months we continued to have a high demand for our online events. Online events become a very important part of our Program. We completed another two art therapy courses (5 sessions each) throughout November 20 - January 21. We continuously had a waiting list for art therapy and thanks to all the support and donations coming to our Fund, we were able to continue a series of courses.

Christmas time was a magical time as always with very popular photosessions taking place. We restarted our photosessions in Moscow keeping them to smaller groups while taking all necessary pandemic-related precautions. Some of our regional offices became active again after lockdowns. Samara city had 10 classes of art therapy and yoga. Yaroslavl city rolled out a 6-weeks course led by reabilitologist, it was named “Fit and healthy”. Voronezh city had a few Christmas photosessions as well.

In November we participated in a Russian wide march “Light up the night”, where oncology patients and those in remission, marched together to support each other and other oncology patients. We are happy to share a video that was recorded in support of this event.

We are also happy to see increasing interest and demand for individual therapy. More and more oncology patients start to understand the importance of psychological support and help. Over November, December and January we provided close to 40 individual consultations!

Despite the challenges of pandemic, we have had a great 3 months with a lot of activities and events happening online. Online format proved very effective, engaging and in high demand by oncology patients in these times. It allows people to join from home, hospital, as well as from any region across Russia.

The biggest event was our 21 day rehabilitation marathon in partnership with Nike and Tefal. Close to 150 participants took part in this marathon! As part of the marathon we had online classes of yoga, dancing, meditation, and aerobics taught by Nike trainers. There was a private chat for all participants to communicate with each other, share stories and ask questions. Participants had online chats with different doctors and specialists.

Over the last 3 months we conducted 2 courses of art therapy (5 sessions each). We’ve had about 20 live talks with doctors. As always, all of them were recorded and now available on our YouTube channel.

Samara city was active in the last few months and conducted 4 yoga classes and 3 dancing classes. They also had a master class of creating flower bouquets.

We continue placing a high focus on providing individual therapy to those who need it. In the last 3 months, we were able to provide 30 individual consultations.
