In June of this year, HSTF visited 2 orphanage homes in Kaduna and donated food and clothing items worth $1,000 to the orphans. After the intervention, we realised that these orphans have no access to quality education. We in HSTF believe these orphans have great future if well educated like every other children. This project will build a primary school close to the orphanage home specifically for orphans in Kabala constain, Kaduna state northern Nigeria. The school will be well equipped for 300
Education is the best legacy any child can have. Every child irrespective of background, sexual orientation has right to quality education. Despite the importance of education, so many children are still deprived the right to quality education in Kaduna state Northern Nigeria. The completion rate of primary students is 24.17%, 54.94% for junior secondary students and 70.14% for senior secondary students. The orphans residing in orphanage homes are virtually no access to quality primary education
We expect to solve two problems with this singular project. First, the orphans will be elevated and given the best primary education. This is boost the moral of kids in the orphanage homes and put smiles of hope on their faces. Second, we expect to improve the completion rate of primary education in Kaduna state which is under 25% at the moment. This will assist Kaduna state and Nigeria as a whole to move closer in achieving the United Nations SDG 4.
The community is Kabala district in Kaduna central senatorial zone. HSTF had supported an orphanage home known as HALAL ORPHANAGE HOME with close to 200 orphans with food and clothing items. The proposed school will be primarily for the orphans residing in this orphanage home. We intend to have a facility for 300 students to cater for future and also admit other orphans from the community. 300 orphans are expected to have access to quality primary education. We expect to produce future leaders
