Support our efforts to provide nutritious meals to vulnerable Syrian children in IDP camps near the borders with Turkey. More than 150,000 Syrians living in IDP camps now. They are all suffering from food shortages due to the war in Syria. We have established kitchens to provide food meals but unfortunately due to ongoing funding problems we are unable to reach and feed most of them. Our goal is to provide more than 20,000 nutritious meals to the most vulnerable children.
Syrian children living in IDP camps don't have access to sufficient, safe and nutritious food that meets their dietary needs and food preferences for an active and healthy life. They are facing health problems caused by severe food shortages due to the ongoing crises in Syria and funding difficulties.
This project is part of our food security program that aims to put an end to all food shortages faced by children, women and the elderly in IDP camps. With this project we seek to ensure that there are various sources of nutritious food for hungry children to meet their dietary needs and maintain the nutritional balance for an active and healthy life in the IDP camps.
The project goal is to provide 20,000 nutritious meals to children living in IDP camps with focus on schools inside the camps to ensure improved nutritional intake for these children as well as encouraging their parents to send them to school, thus will be a long-term investment in the education and future of the next generation.
