A lot of changes have taken place at child Welfare Home Khandbari during last four months. Last October the kids celebrated Dashain, as well as Deepawali, the grated festivals of Nepal, having mutton beaten rice, bananas, sel roti, wearing new clothes. During  last Dashan Michael and his mother  from Ireland were visiting Khandbari. They spent most of their time with the kids. Michel bought a football for the kids played football with them. His mother observed them playing football and having fun.

The guests bought new clothes for Rs. 3000.00 for each 12  kids. They also bought a rice cooker as well as other kitchen utensils for the organization. Michael has been ready to sponsor another child Mr. Nabin Magar from the orphanage to study at Surya Boarding school from coming March until he finishes his secondary label education. His sponsorship will commence from coming March 2014. Michel's mother Ethyl Fingleton has been ready to pay the orphanage House rent $1000.00 per year some coming years. Michael also has been ready to support bigger girl Kopila Subba to study a technical subject in Khandbari after she competes her SLC examination.

In order to help the kids in their study we have employed a private tutor Mr. Raj Kumar Dahal from Makalu Boarding School, Khandbari. Mr. Jumoke Richards from England has come to volunteer at the orphanage. Since last October 21,  he has been supporting the kids in doing honework. He has also been very helpful to the kids as well as the tutor. The kids have been progressing very well. Mr. Nabin Khanal has been able to secure 90% marks in his  first terminal exam.
